Long-time Belnord resident Henning Meisner discovered the Italian inspiration for our fountain: Massimo Listri’s photograph in Villa Albani-Torlonia, The Cradle of Neoclassicism, Rizzoli 2021, photographs by, pretty clearly shows our fountain’s ancestor in Rome.
